Tokyo Olympics 2020. Farida Othman qualifies for the 100m freestyle

One last chance. Farida Othman competes in the 50-meter freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics on Friday. She finished her 100-meter freestyle race in third place with a time of 55.74 seconds. Farida Othman became the focus of attention and talk of the sports community after taking the last place in the 100-meter butterfly race.

As Farida Othman, a female national swimming team player. She has called off the 100-meter freestyle competition at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.  The Japanese host it from July 23 to August 8. Farida failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition after she ranked 20th in the overall standings of the race.

Farida finished the race with a time of 55 seconds and 74 milliseconds.  She came in third place in her liquidation. And 33rd place in the total qualifications.  And thus she deposits in the competition for not being in the first 16 places.

It is noteworthy that Farida did not succeed last Saturday in qualifying for the semi-finals of the championship, in the 100-meter butterfly race, as she finished in eighth place with a time of 58 seconds and 69 parts of a second, two seconds and 51 parts behind the Swedish legend Sarah Sjöstrom.

Farida crown bronze in the World Junior Championships in Hungary. And also the local record in the 50 and 100 meters freestyle and butterfly.

The Egyptian butterfly also won 30 international medals through its participation in the world championships, the Mediterranean Championships, and the African and Arab championships.

She won the gold medal

It is noteworthy that Farida Othman, qualified for the Olympic Game in Tokyo, in the 100m butterfly competitions through the  ISCA International Senior Cup.  It was held in America last March. And she won the gold medal.

Farida secured her place in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after winning the ISCA International Senior Cup, which was held in the United States of America last March.
