According to the Eurik Alert website, the study found that patients from 21 countries developed lesions in the spinal cord after contracting the virus.

Spinal myelitis is a rare neurological condition. It affects between 1.34 and 4.6 people per million annually. And researchers say that the high rate among Corona patients deserves immediate investigation and care.
